Bio

I attended the TSCA School of Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture here in New York City, where I earned a Masters of Science in acupuncture. In addition to acupuncture, I studied other traditional Chinese therapies such as cupping, moxibuxtion, and herbal treatments. I am also certified in the practice of alchemical acupuncture, which is a psycho-emotional healing strategy.

Before turning to acupuncture full time, I graduated from Brandeis University cum laude, earned an MBA from the New York University Stern School of Business, and became the CIO of a midsized company in Manhattan. I know how the stress of living in New York takes its toll.

I’m also physically active. At Brandeis I played varsity basketball, and I am an avid student of External Mixed Martial Arts. I worked my way up to a first degree black belt, winning the divisional fighting championship at the Meadowlands in 2001.  I have also practiced qigong for over 10 years, studying in New York and Thailand. I have experienced firsthand how acupuncture can heal painful and nagging sports injuries, and I’m the official acupuncturist of the Zum Schneider soccer league.

I opened the practice in Union Square to share the knowledge and skills I have learned over the past decade.  I have been recommended for both my expertise in treating sports injuries as well as my therapies to treat the full spectrum of physical and psychological ailments, such as insomnia and depression or anger.  I look forward to a life of helping people find balance and health through Chinese medicine, educating them on ways to keep continually on that path.
